Our goal at Simplified is for you to get the most out of our service, hire successfully and recommend us in future. We thrive on your recommendations so we’ll do everything in our power to operate as efficiently and effectively as possible.

It is our intention to provide a service which is reliable, simple, easy to use and which meets your needs. We welcome feedback on our system and promise to work tirelessly to constantly improve our service.

Due to the nature of the service we provide, respecting your privacy and sensitive information is at the centre of everything we do. We would like to assure you that we will not share, sell, or give away your personal information and that it is not our intention to ever do so in the future.

Additionally, we commit to ensuring that the system is secure and that information held on our service is protected from misuse and unauthorised access. We want you to come to rely on us and so we’ll also make every effort to keep everything fully operational, with as little ‘down time’ as possible.

We believe that the best security is to only collect and store information which is absolutely necessary. We will always try to avoid storing sensitive identity related or financial information like credit card details, passports or national insurance numbers and will also never ask you to provide any information (including your password) directly to us by email.

We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration, customer support and to collect aggregate information for internal reporting purposes.

In addition, our Website uses cookies. A cookie is a piece of information in the form of a very small text file that is placed on an internet user’s computer. It is generated by a web page server (which is basically the computer that operates the web site) and can be used by that server whenever the user visits the site. Simplified Recruitment Terms of Service, Security and Privacy Policy

1. Your relationship with Simplified Recruitment

1.1 Your use of Simplified Recruitment’s products, software, services and web sites (referred to collectively as the “Services”) in this document is subject to the terms of a legal agreement between you and Simplified Recruitment. This document explains how the agreement is made up, and sets out some of the terms of the agreement.

Each time you use or access,, and/or our mobile device application (collectively called the “Website”) you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions.

1.2 Unless otherwise agreed in writing with Simplified Recruitment, your agreement with Simplified Recruitment will always include, at a minimum, the terms and conditions set out in this document. These are referred to below as the “Universal Terms”.

1.3 Your agreement with Simplified Recruitment will also include the terms of any Legal Notices applicable to the Services, in addition to the Universal Terms. All of these are referred to below as the “Additional Terms”. Where Additional Terms apply to a Service, these will be accessible for you to read either within, or through your use of, that Service.

1.4 The Universal Terms, together with the Additional Terms, form a legally binding agreement between you and Simplified Recruitment in relation to your use of the Services. It is important that you take the time to read them carefully. Collectively, this legal agreement is referred to below as the “Terms”.

1.5 If there is any contradiction between what the Additional Terms say and what the Universal Terms say, then the Additional Terms shall take precedence in relation to that Service.

1.6 Simplified Recruitment is a trading name of NEETOVATE LTD (registered company number 07141611) and you may see the name Neetovate used when making payments made through our online payment gateway.

2. Accepting the Terms

2.1 In order to use the Services, you must firstly agree to the Terms. You may not use the Services if you do not accept the Terms.

2.2 You can accept the Terms by:

(A) clicking to accept or agree to the Terms, where this option is made available to you by Simplified Recruitment in the user interface for any Service; or
(B) by actually using the Services. In this case, you understand and agree that Simplified Recruitment will treat your use of the Services as acceptance of the Terms from that point onwards.

2.3 You may not use the Services and may not accept the Terms if (a) you are not of legal age to form a binding contract with Simplified Recruitment, or (b) you are a person barred from receiving the Services under the laws of the country in which you are resident or from which you use the Services.

2.4 Before you continue, you should print off or save a local copy of the Universal Terms for your records.

3. Language of the Terms

3.1 Where Simplified Recruitment has provided you with a translation of the English language version of the Terms, then you agree that the translation is provided for your convenience only and that the English language versions of the Terms will govern your relationship with Simplified Recruitment.

3.2 If there is any contradiction between what the English language version of the Terms says and what a translation says, then the English language version shall take precedence.

4. Provision of the Services by Simplified Recruitment

4.1 Simplified Recruitment has subsidiaries and affiliated legal entities around the world (“Subsidiaries and Affiliates”). Sometimes, these companies will be providing the Services to you on behalf of Simplified Recruitment itself. You acknowledge and agree that Subsidiaries and Affiliates will be entitled to provide the Services to you.

4.2 Simplified Recruitment is constantly innovating in order to provide the best possible experience for its users. You acknowledge and agree that the form and nature of the Services which Simplified Recruitment provides may change from time. While Simplified Recruitment will endeavour to notify you should there be such a change you accept that there is no requirement to give prior notice to you.

4.3 As part of this continuing innovation, you acknowledge and agree that Simplified Recruitment may stop (permanently or temporarily) providing the Services (or any features within the Services) to you or to users generally at Simplified Recruitment’s sole discretion. Again while Simplified Recruitment will endeavour to let you know if the Services are to be stopped, you accept that there is no requirement to give prior notice to you. You may stop using the Services at any time and you do not need to specifically inform Simplified Recruitment should you stop using the Services.

4.4 While Simplified Recruitment will endeavour to provide access to all information you provide using the service, you acknowledge and agree that if Simplified Recruitment disables access to your account (for example due to a breach of these terms), you may be prevented from accessing the Services, your account details or any files or other content which is contained in your account.

4.5 You acknowledge and agree that while Simplified Recruitment may not currently have set a fixed upper limit on the number of transmissions you may send or receive through the Services or on the amount of storage space used for the provision of any Service, such fixed upper limits may be set by Simplified Recruitment at any time, at Simplified Recruitment’s discretion.

4.6 All jobs will be posted as soon as possible but at maximum within 24 hours of submission. If there is going to be a delay, we will let you know. Our opening hours are 9am to 5pm so to ensure prompt appearance of job adverts they should ideally be sent to us before 1pm. While we accept jobs submitted by email, we prefer clients submit roles online as we will then be able to confirm receipt as they are received.

Where our sales representatives have negotiated specific pricing and terms via email or on the phone, these will be honoured. In the event of a contradiction between these terms and a negotiated bespoke agreement, the negotiated terms will always be honoured. We reserve the right to refund or cancel an agreement which is negotiated either in bad faith or which is no longer viable as part of the Services.

Any variance to the standard terms or pricing should always be confirmed in writing. Where there is no written confirmation of a change to the standard terms, the standard terms will apply.

Our postings are not branded with our clients logos or company name unless client branded advertising has been explicitly selected or agreed. Unbranded advertising features the Simplified Recruitment details and the Simplified logo.

Jobs are generally advertised on websites we use for 28 days, where this is less we will notify you in advance.

Due to the volume of jobs we advertise, we are not able to accommodate changes to job adverts once they have been posted. If a job is posted and changes are then required, these will need to be made as a new job posting.

Simplified Recruitment do not take responsibility for the content of jobs advertised through our website. We will manually review each advert and do our best to ensure that we advise you of any problems relating to adverts in advance of them being placed. We have a very good track record and to date have not experienced even one example of negative candidate feedback in response to one of our clients adverts. However, once advertised, if there are any issues relating to the advert wording, or the clients internal recruitment process, our clients will need to take full responsibility for dealing with any claims which arise. We require all clients to indemnify us against any potential claims which could be made by candidates, individuals or organisations, who see or apply for their job advert.

When posting jobs using our service you acknowledge and agree to comply with the terms and conditions of the websites which your job postings are visible on. Each website will have their own terms and conditions which relate specifically to the content which is acceptable on their site. You accept full responsibility for complying with these terms and agree that Simplified Recruitment will not be liable in the event of a breach. If you are advertising legitimate jobs and are willing to pay minimum wage or more, this section will likely not apply to you. We manually review all jobs posted and will attempt to let you know if we believe you are breaking any of these rules.

For your convenience, below is an indicative sample of conditions which have been compiled from some of the job websites which we use. Simplified Recruitment make no warranty that this information is up to date and it is presented as an illustration only.

Generally a job posting may not contain:

(A) any hyperlinks, other than those specifically authorised;
(B) misleading, unreadable, or “hidden” keywords, repeated keywords or keywords that are irrelevant to the job opportunity being presented;
(C) the names, logos or trademarks of unaffiliated companies other than those of your business save where expressly agreed;
(D) the names of colleges, cities, states, towns, countries, businesses, brands or products that are unrelated to the posting;
(E) more than one job or job description, more than one location, or more than one job category;
(F) inaccurate, false, or misleading information;
(G) material or links to material that exploits people in a sexual, violent or other manner, or solicits personal information from minors;
(F) content that does not comply with applicable local, national and international laws, including but not limited to laws relating to labour and employment, equal employment opportunity and employment eligibility requirements, data privacy, data access and use, or intellectual property;
(G) jobs that include any screening requirement or criterion in connection with a job posting where such requirement or criterion is not an actual and legal requirement of the posted job;
(H) advertisements for any product, service or other content;
(I) any franchise, pyramid scheme, “club membership”, distributorship, multi-level marketing opportunity, or sales representative agency arrangement or any business opportunity that requires an up front or periodic payment or requires recruitment of other members, sub-distributors or sub-agents;
(J) a business opportunity that pays commission only unless the posting clearly states that the available job pays commission only and clearly describes the product or service that the job seeker would be selling;
(K) promotion for any opportunity that does not represent bona fide employment;
(L) advertising for modelling, acting, talent or entertainment agencies or talent scouting positions unless explicitly permitted;
(M) sexual services or advertisements for jobs of a sexual nature;
(N) requests for human body parts or the donation of human parts, including, without limitation, reproductive services such as egg donation and surrogacy;
(O) endorsements for a particular political party, political agenda, political position or issue;
(P) promotion of a particular religion;
Q) jobs located in countries subject to economic sanctions of the United Nations;
(R) except where allowed by applicable law, jobs which require the applicant to provide information relating to (i) racial or ethnic origin (ii) political beliefs(iii) philosophical or religious beliefs (iv) membership of a trade union (v) physical or mental health (vi) sexual life (vii) the commission of criminal offences or proceedings or (vii) age;
(S) information that is offensive, obscene or indecent, or capable of being resolved into obscene or indecent images or material;
(T) information that is defamatory, threatening or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
(U) information that is designed or likely to cause annoyance, inconvenience, unwanted attention or needless anxiety to another person;
(V) something that infringes the rights (including, without limitation, the intellectual property rights) of another person;
(W) data that is designed or likely to cause disruption to any computer system or to any network;
(X) illegal material or material designed or likely to induce an illegal act.

4.7 You acknowledge and agree that Simplified Recruitment have will not be liable to reimburse you for the cost of any advertising which is removed (for whatever reason) by the websites which you choose to advertise on. You also accept that while there will be some indicators of job posting inactivity through the Services, there will be no requirement for Simplified Recruitment to explicitly notify you should an advert be removed.

4.8 Cancellation policy. Unless agreed in writing once a job advert has been posted, it is not possible to cancel. We may allow clients some flexibility however this will be at our discretion.

4.9 Payments. Payments for Services must be made within the agreed payment period. This period is 14 days as standard however may be extended on a case by case basis. If payment is not made within the agreed time frame, we reserve the right to add a 15% late payment fee.

4.10 Price match policy.  We operate a policy where we strive to be the best value possible for our clients. This means that when a similar business to ours is offering a product or service which is comparable, we try to either match, or ideally, beat the price for our clients. This means that we always remain the best value way to recruit talent online. Our price match policy is very broad, all we ask is that you let us know which company has offered you the rate we need to match and exactly what they are proposing to provide for that rate. We aim to beat all legitimate quotes from reputable companies by 10%.

5. Use of the Services by you

5.1 In order to access certain Services, you may be required to provide information about yourself (such as identification or contact details) as part of the registration process for the Service, or as part of your continued use of the Services. You agree that any information you give to Simplified Recruitment will always be accurate, correct and up to date.

5.2 You agree to use the Services only for purposes that are permitted by (a) the Terms and (b) any applicable law, regulation or generally accepted practices or guidelines in the relevant jurisdictions (including any laws regarding the export of data or software or other relevant countries).

5.3 You agree not to access (or attempt to access) any of the Services by any means other than through an interface that is provided by Simplified Recruitment, unless you have been specifically allowed to do so in a separate agreement with Simplified Recruitment.

5.4 You agree that you will not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Services (or the servers and networks which are connected to the Services).

5.5 Unless you have been specifically permitted to do so in a separate agreement with Simplified Recruitment, you agree that you will not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade or resell the Services for any purpose.

5.6 You agree that you are solely responsible for (and that Simplified Recruitment has no responsibility to you or to any third party for) any breach of your obligations under the Terms and for the consequences (including any loss or damage which Simplified Recruitment may suffer) of any such breach.

6. Your passwords and account security

6.1 You agree and understand that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords associated with any account you use to access the Services.

6.2 Accordingly, you agree that you will be solely responsible to Simplified Recruitment for all activities that occur under your account.

6.3 If you become aware of any unauthorised use of your password or of your account, you agree to notify Simplified Recruitment immediately by email using security @ simplified . direct  (remove spaces when sending email).

7. Privacy policy and your personal information

7.1 Simplified Recruitment collects and processes your personal data on the basis of different legal grounds, depending on the nature of the personal data being provided and the type of processing involved.

– Performance of a Contract

Most of the personal data processed by Simplified Recruitment is performed on the basis that it is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you, or in order to take steps at the request of the user prior to entering such an agreement.

– Legitimate Interest

On the basis that it is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by Simplified Recruitment. Such legitimate interests will include the situation where Simplified Recruitment sends you marketing information about our Services, where we believe you have a reasonable expectation that we will perform a particular type of processing on your behalf, or where such processing is strictly necessary for finding you a job. Simplified Recruitment will only rely on such a ground where an assessment has been performed balancing the interests and rights involved and the necessity of the processing in order to provide our Services to you.

– Consent

In certain limited situations, Simplified Recruitment will rely on your consent in order to process your personal data. Where Simplified Recruitment requires your consent in order to collect and process certain personal data, we seek your consent at the time of provision, and such processing will only be performed where consent is secured. An example of this would be where an employer may wish to retain your information in a talent pool for consideration for future vacancies.

7.2 If you are a job seeker, by applying to our vacancies or by making your CV available to us, you are giving us permission to pass the information you provide to a third party to help you find a job.

How we may collect your data

We collect personal data about you, for example, when:

  • you apply to our vacancies
  • you have a publicly visible profile online (for example, LinkedIn or similar public profiles on social media)
  • you make your CV available to us for recruitment purposes through third party recruitment databases, for example, job board sites.

The personal data that we collect may include your name, email address and telephone number.

We may also collect details of your experience, availability, salary expectations, your preferred work location and any additional information submitted through the Services (e.g. via electronic application forms or automated telephone interview).

We may also obtain additional details through correspondence with you and information submitted by third parties, for example, referees, employers and hiring managers.

How we may use this data

We may process your personal data to provide you with Services that are available through the Website as well as for administrative purposes.

If you are a job seeker, we may also use this information to help you with your job search. For example, we may use employment history to identify and email job recommendations.

7.3 When you sign up for the Services as a Recruiter you will submit personal information (such as name, email address and a password) to us and we will process such personal data on the basis that it is necessary to do so in order to perform the contract you enter into with us.

7.4 For certain Services, we will request that credit card or other payment account information is submitted. In these situations you will submit the payment information to a third party payment provider and we will ensure that no details of your card or account information are stored on our servers. This ensures that it is impossible for anyone to have access to your payment details for any other purpose than completing the payment which you are making to Simplified Recruitment. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties.

7.5 Should you choose to pay for the Services via direct debit, our third party payment provider will store only the details necessary to process the payments on your behalf. We will ensure that our interface makes it easy to cancel your direct debit and also that we keep a clear, easily accessible record of all payments you make to us.

7.6 When you access the Services, our servers will sometimes record information about your visit for security purposes. We will not store these records once you have logged out of the system.

7.7 When you send email or other communications using the Services, we will retain those communications on your behalf.

7.8 We offer some of our Services on or through other websites. Personal information that you provide to those sites may be sent by us in order to deliver the service. Where third party websites are used we make a commitment that any information sent will be (a) explicitly authorised by you and (b) kept only for as long as is needed to deliver the service.

7.9 Simplified Recruitment will only process personal information for the purposes described in the Terms or the Additional Terms for specific Services. In addition to the above, such purposes include:

  • Providing the Services;
  • Auditing, research and analysis in order to maintain, protect and improve the Services;
  • Ensuring the technical functioning of the Services;
  • Marketing the Services;
  • Protecting the rights or property of Simplified Recruitment or our users; and
  • Developing new Services.

7.10 Simplified Recruitment processes personal information on our servers in the European Economic Area. In some cases, this may mean that we process personal information on a server outside your own country.

7.11 If we propose to use personal information for any purposes other than those described in this Privacy Policy and/or in the specific service privacy notices, we will offer you an effective way to opt out of the use of personal information for those other purposes. We will not collect or use sensitive information for purposes other than those described in this Privacy Policy and/or in the supplementary service privacy notices, unless we have obtained your prior consent.

7.12 Simplified Recruitment will only share personal information with other companies or individuals outside of Simplified Recruitment in the following limited circumstances:

  • If you’re a job seeker, by applying to our vacancies through our Website, external job websites and other third parties, you are giving us permission to pass the information you provide to a third party to help you find a job.
  • If you’re a recruiter, we have your consent. We require opt-in consent for the sharing of any sensitive personal information.
  • We provide such information to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies or other trusted businesses or persons for the purpose of processing personal information on our behalf. We require that these parties agree to process such information based on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
  • We have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Simplified Recruitment, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.

7.13 If Simplified Recruitment becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of its assets, we will ensure the confidentiality of any personal information involved in such transactions and provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

7.14 We may share with third parties certain pieces of aggregated, non-personal information, such as the number of users of the Services, for example, or how many users have discrepancies in the data they provided. In all cases where this information is used we will insure that the information does not identify any one individual or company.

7.15We will only retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it is collected.

When assessing what retention period is appropriate for your personal data, we take into consideration:

  • the requirements of our business and the services provided;
  • any statutory or legal obligations;
  • the purposes for which we originally collected the personal data;
  • the lawful grounds on which we based our processing;
  • the types of personal data we have collected;
  • the amount and categories of your personal data; and
  • whether the purpose of the processing could reasonably be fulfilled by other means.

Where we need to use your personal data for another reason, other than for the purpose for which we collected it, we will only use your personal data where that reason is compatible with the original purpose.

Should it be necessary to use your personal data for a new purpose, we will notify you and communicate the legal basis which allows us to do so before starting any new processing.

7.16 We want to make sure that your information is accurate and up-to-date and will delete or amend any information that you think is inaccurate. 7.17 You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. To make a formal  request to access your data held by Simplified Recruitment, please email dpo @ simplified . direct (remove spaces when sending email) with the subject line “I am requesting to access my personal data”.

7.18 To delete your information or to close your account, please email dpo @ simplified . direct (remove spaces when sending email) with the subject line “I am requesting to delete my personal data”. This will be confirmed by Simplified Recruitment.

8. Information security and Data integrity

8.1 Simplified Recruitment will take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorised access to or unauthorised alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorised access to systems where we store personal data.

8.2 We restrict access to personal information to Simplified Recruitment employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve Services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.

8.3 Simplified Recruitment will process personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with these terms or any applicable privacy notice. We review our data collection, storage and processing practices to ensure that we only collect, store and process the personal information needed to provide or improve our Services or as otherwise permitted under the Terms. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we process is accurate, complete, and current, but we depend on users of the Services to update or correct their personal information whenever necessary.

8.4 When you use the Services, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access to all the information which you have submitted to us via our interface. We commit to providing a clear option for you to removing your personal information should you wish to stop using the service. We will ensure that personal information which you submit using the Services will be made available through our interface.

8.5 By using the Services you agree to the use of your data in accordance with these terms and any Privacy policies which may apply.

9. Proprietary rights

9.1 You acknowledge and agree that Simplified Recruitment (or Simplified Recruitment’s licencors) own all legal right, title and interest in and to the Services, including any intellectual property rights which subsist in the Services (whether those rights happen to be registered or not, and wherever in the world those rights may exist). You further acknowledge that the Services may contain information which is designated confidential by Simplified Recruitment and that you shall not disclose such information without Simplified Recruitment’s prior written consent.

9.2 Unless you have agreed otherwise in writing with Simplified Recruitment, nothing in the Terms gives you a right to use any of Simplified Recruitment’s trade names, trade marks, service marks, logos, domain names, and other distinctive brand features.

9.3 If you have been given an explicit right to use any of these brand features in a separate written agreement with Simplified Recruitment, then you agree that your use of such features shall be in compliance with that agreement, any applicable provisions of the Terms, and Simplified Recruitment’s brand feature use guidelines as updated from time to time.

9.4 Other than the limited license set forth in Section 11, Simplified Recruitment acknowledges and agrees that it obtains no right, title or interest from you (or your licensors) under these Terms in or to any Content that you submit, post, transmit or display on, or through, the Services, including any intellectual property rights which subsist in that Content (whether those rights happen to be registered or not, and wherever in the world those rights may exist). Unless you have agreed otherwise in writing with Simplified Recruitment, you agree that you are responsible for protecting and enforcing those rights and that Simplified Recruitment has no obligation to do so on your behalf.

9.5 You agree that you shall not remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary rights notices (including copyright and trade mark notices) which may be affixed to or contained within the Services.

9.6 Unless you have been expressly authorised to do so in writing by Simplified Recruitment, you agree that in using the Services, you will not use any trade mark, service mark, trade name, logo of any company or organisation in a way that is likely or intended to cause confusion about the owner or authorised user of such marks, names or logos.

10. Licence from Simplified Recruitment

10.1 Simplified Recruitment gives you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable and non-exclusive licence to use the software provided to you by Simplified Recruitment as part of the Services as provided to you by Simplified Recruitment (referred to as the “Software” below). This licence is for the sole purpose of enabling you to use and enjoy the benefit of the Services as provided by Simplified Recruitment, in the manner permitted by the Terms.

10.2 You may not (and you may not permit anyone else to) copy, modify, create a derivative work of, reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Software or any part thereof, unless this is expressly permitted or required by law, or unless you have been specifically told that you may do so by Simplified Recruitment, in writing.

10.3 Unless Simplified Recruitment has given you specific written permission to do so, you may not assign (or grant a sub-licence of) your rights to use the Software, grant a security interest in or over your rights to use the Software, or otherwise transfer any part of your rights to use the Software.

11. Content licence from you

11.1 When using the Services to provide information, you retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in the information which you submit through the Services.

11.2 By the act of submitting or posting job information to the Service, Simplified Recruitment are given a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive licence to use the job information provided. This licence is for the sole purpose of enabling Simplified Recruitment to deliver the Services to authorised users. The job information may be changed or removed at any time using the removal options provided within the web interface to the Services.

11.3 You agree that this licence includes a right for Simplified Recruitment to make information submitted available to other authorised companies, organisations or individuals with whom Simplified Recruitment has relationships for the provision the Services, and to use such information in connection with the provision of those services.

11.4 You understand that Simplified Recruitment, in performing the required technical steps to provide the Services to our users, may (a) transmit or distribute the provided information over various networks; and (b) make such changes to your Content as are necessary to conform and adapt that Content to the technical requirements of connecting networks, devices, services or media. You agree that this licence shall permit Simplified Recruitment to take these actions.

11.5 You confirm and warrant to Simplified Recruitment that you have all the rights, power and authority necessary to grant the above licence.

12. Ending your relationship with Simplified Recruitment

12.1 The Terms will continue to apply until terminated by either you or Simplified Recruitment as set out below.

12.2 If you want to terminate your legal agreement with Simplified Recruitment, you may do so by (a) notifying Simplified Recruitment at any time and (b) closing your account for the Services which you use, where Simplified Recruitment has made this option available to you.

12.3 Simplified Recruitment may at any time, terminate its legal agreement with you if:

(A) you have breached any provision of the Terms (or have acted in manner which clearly shows that you do not intend to, or are unable to comply with the provisions of the Terms); or
(B) Simplified Recruitment is required to do so by law (for example, where the provision of the Services to you is, or becomes, unlawful); or
(C) the partner with whom Simplified Recruitment offered the Services to you has terminated its relationship with Simplified Recruitment or ceased to offer the Services to you; or
(D) Simplified Recruitment is transitioning to no longer providing the Services to users in the country in which you are resident or from which you use the service; or
(E) the provision of the Services to you by Simplified Recruitment is, in Simplified Recruitment’s opinion, no longer commercially viable.

12.4 Nothing in this Section shall affect Simplified Recruitment’s rights regarding provision of Services under Section 4 of the Terms.

12.5 When these Terms come to an end, all of the legal rights, obligations and liabilities that you and Simplified Recruitment have benefited from, been subject to (or which have accrued over time whilst the Terms have been in force) or which are expressed to continue indefinitely, shall be unaffected by this cessation, and the provisions of paragraph 20.7 shall continue to apply to such rights, obligations and liabilities indefinitely.

14. Exclusion of Warranties

14.1 The Services are provided “as is” and Simplified Recruitment, its Subsidiaries and Affiliates, and its licensors give you no warranty with respect to them.

14.2 In particular, Simplified Recruitment, its Subsidiaries and Affiliates, and licensors do not represent or warrant to you that:

(A) your use of the Services will meet your requirements,
(B) your use of the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free from error,
(C) any information obtained by you as a result of your use of the Services will be accurate or reliable, and
(D) that defects in the operation or functionality of any Software provided to you as part of the Services will be corrected.

14.3 No conditions, warranties or other terms (including any implied terms as to satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose or conformance with description) apply to the Services except to the extent that they are expressly set out in the Terms.

14.4 Nothing in the Terms shall affect those statutory rights which you are always entitled to as a consumer and that you cannot contractually agree to alter or waive.

15. Limitation of Liability

15.1 Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit Simplified Recruitment’s liability for losses which may not be lawfully excluded or limited by applicable law.

15.2 Subject to overall provision in paragraph 15.1 above, Simplified Recruitment, its Subsidiaries and Affiliates, and its licensors shall not be liable to you for:

(A) any indirect or consequential losses which may be incurred by you. This shall include any loss of profit (whether incurred directly or indirectly), any loss of goodwill or business reputation, or any loss of data suffered by you;
(B) any loss or damage which may be incurred by you as a result of:
(i) any reliance placed by you on the completeness or accuracy of any information provided through the Services;
(ii) any changes which Simplified Recruitment may make to the Services, or for any permanent or temporary cessation in the provision of the Services (or any features within the Services);
(iii) the deletion of, corruption of, or failure to store, any Content and other communications data maintained or transmitted by or through your use of the Services;
(iv) your failure to provide Simplified Recruitment with accurate account information;
(v) your failure to keep your password or account details secure and confidential

15.3 The limitations on Simplified Recruitment’s liability to you in paragraph 15.2 above shall apply whether or not Simplified Recruitment has been advised of or should have been aware of the possibility of any such losses arising.

16. Advertisements

16.1 Some of the Services may be supported by advertising revenue and may display advertisements and promotions. These advertisements may be targeted to the content of information stored on the Services or other information.

16.2 The manner, mode and extent of advertising by Simplified Recruitment on the Services are subject to change without specific notice to you.

16.3 In consideration for Simplified Recruitment granting you access to and use of the Services, you agree that Simplified Recruitment may place such advertising on the Services and accept that you may have the option of removing the advertising displayed for a fee which will allow you to use the Services without advertising for a specified period.

16.4 We understand and will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs if we are not paid according to agreed credit terms.

17. Other content

17.1 The Services may include hyperlinks to other web sites or content or resources. You accept that Simplified Recruitment is not responsible for any web sites or resources which are provided by companies or persons other than Simplified Recruitment.

17.2 You acknowledge and agree that Simplified Recruitment is not responsible for the availability of any such external sites or resources, and does not endorse any advertising, products or other materials on or available from such web sites or resources.

17.3 You acknowledge and agree that Simplified Recruitment is not liable for any loss or damage which may be incurred by you as a result of the availability of those external sites or resources, or as a result of any reliance placed by you on the completeness, accuracy or existence of any advertising, products or other materials on, or available from, such web sites or resources.

18. Opting Out

If you no longer want to receive marketing materials from us based upon your personal data, you may opt out of receiving such marketing related messages by sending an email to unsubscribe @ simplified . direct (remove spaces when sending email). Please note that we may still send other messages to you, such as administrative messages. We will comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable, and in accordance with applicable laws.

19. Changes to the Terms

19.1 Simplified Recruitment may make changes to the Universal Terms or Additional Terms from time to time. When these changes are made, Simplified Recruitment will make a new copy of the Universal Terms available here and any new Additional Terms will be made available to you from within, or through, the Services.

19.2 You understand and agree that if you use the Services after the date on which the Universal Terms or Additional Terms have changed, Simplified Recruitment will treat your use as acceptance of the updated Universal Terms or Additional Terms.

20. General legal terms

20.1 Sometimes when you use the Services, you may (as a result of, or through your use of the Services) use or purchase a service or software, which are provided by another person or company. Your use of these other services or software may be subject to separate terms between you and the company or person concerned. If so, the Terms do not affect your legal relationship with these other companies or individuals.

20.2 The Terms constitute the whole legal agreement between you and Simplified Recruitment and govern your use of the Services (but excluding any services which Simplified Recruitment may provide to you under a separate written agreement), and completely replace any prior agreements between you and Simplified Recruitment in relation to the Services.

20.3 You agree that Simplified Recruitment may provide you with notices, including those regarding changes to the Terms, by email, regular mail, or postings on the Services.

20.4 You agree that if Simplified Recruitment does not exercise or enforce any legal right or remedy which is contained in the Terms (or which Simplified Recruitment has the benefit of under any applicable law), this will not be taken to be a formal waiver of Simplified Recruitment’s rights and that those rights or remedies will still be available to Simplified Recruitment.

20.5 If any court of law, having the jurisdiction to decide on this matter, rules that any provision of these Terms is invalid, then that provision will be removed from the Terms without affecting the rest of the Terms. The remaining provisions of the Terms will continue to be valid and enforceable.

20.6 You acknowledge and agree that each member of the group of companies of which Simplified Recruitment is the parent shall be third party beneficiaries to the Terms and that such other companies shall be entitled to directly enforce, and rely upon, any provision of the Terms which confers a benefit on (or rights in favour of) them. Other than this, no other person or company shall be third party beneficiaries to the Terms.

20.7 The Terms, and your relationship with Simplified Recruitment under the Terms, shall be governed by English law. You and Simplified Recruitment agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England to resolve any legal matter arising from the Terms. Notwithstanding this, you agree that Simplified Recruitment shall still be allowed to apply for injunctive remedies (or an equivalent type of urgent legal relief) in any jurisdiction.

Modern Slavery Policy


Simplified Recruitment is a Direct Recruitment Platform where we help our clients with their vacancy advertising and employer branding.


Our Supply Chains include;

  • Job Boards
  • Social Media
  • Financial Institutions
  • Other Advertising Solution Providers


Simplified Recruitment does not have a supply chain that is reliant on factories or other entities that would normally be associated with slavery or forced labour.

As a general rule, contractors and suppliers used by us are therefore not likely to be susceptible to this risk. However, we are mindful that others may not always uphold standards to the same level as Simplified Recruitment. Consequently, employees responsible for managing suppliers and others involved with Simplified Recruitment are, themselves, responsible for ensuring that our values and ideals are upheld. This continues to be a work in progress and we are strengthening our controls as new contracts are agreed. For example, serious violations by suppliers will lead to the termination of the business relationship.


We have the following process in place across our organisation to identify risk and mitigate against such risks:

  • Mapping the supply chain to assess particular product or geographical risks.
  • Evaluating the modern slavery and human trafficking risks of each new supplier
  • Reviewing on a regular basis all aspects of the supply chain.
  • Taking steps to improve sub-standard suppliers’ practices
  • Protect whistleblowers


We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. To ensure all those in our supply chain and contractors comply with our values we operate in line with principles of responsible sourcing, including paying employees at the prevailing minimum wage applicable within their relevant county of operations.

Simplified Recruitment – Cyber Security Policy

Our Cyber Security Policy outlines our guidelines and provisions for preserving the security of our data and technology infrastructure.


This policy applies to all our employees, contractors, volunteers and anyone who has permanent or temporary access to our systems and hardware.

Policy Elements

Confidential Data

Confidential data is secret and valuable. Common examples are:

  • Unpublished financial information
  • Data of customers/partners/vendors
  • Patents, formulas or new technologies
  • Customer lists (existing and prospective)

All employees are obliged to protect this data. In this policy, we will give our employees instructions on how to avoid security breaches.

Protect Personal and Company Devices

When employees use their digital devices to access company emails or accounts, they introduce security risk to our data. We advise our employees to keep both their personal and company issued computer, tablet and cell phone secure.

They can do this if they:

  • Keep all devices password protected.
  • Choose and upgrade a complete antivirus software.
  • Ensure they do not leave their devices exposed or unattended.
  • Install security updates of browsers and systems monthly or as soon as updates are available.
  • Log into company accounts and systems through secure and private networks only.

We also advise our employees to avoid accessing internal systems and accounts from other people’s devices or lending their own devices to others.
When new hires receive company-issued equipment they will receive instructions for:

  • Email and any other internal or external communication tools setup
  • Password management

They should follow instructions to protect their devices and refer to our IT Team if they have any questions.

Email Security

Emails often host scams and malicious software (e.g. worms.) To avoid virus infection or data theft, we instruct employees to:

  • Avoid opening attachments and clicking on links when the content is not adequately explained (e.g. “watch this video, it’s amazing.”)
  • Be suspicious of clickbait titles (e.g. offering prizes, advice.)
  • Check email and names of people they received a message from to ensure they are legitimate.
  • Look for inconsistencies or give-aways (e.g. grammar mistakes, capital letters, excessive number of exclamation marks.)

If an employee isn’t sure that an email, they received is safe, they can refer to our IT Team.

Managing Passwords

Password leaks are dangerous since they can compromise our entire infrastructure. Not only should passwords be secure so they won’t be easily hacked, but they should also remain secret. For this reason, we advise our employees to:

  • Choose passwords with at least eight characters (including capital and lower-case letters, numbers and symbols) and avoid information that can be easily guessed (e.g. birthdays.)
  • Remember passwords instead of writing them down. If employees need to write their passwords, they are obliged to keep the paper or digital document confidential and destroy it when their work is done.
  • Exchange credentials only when absolutely necessary. When exchanging them in-person isn’t possible, employees should prefer the phone instead of email, and only if they personally recognize the person they are talking to.
  • Change their passwords every two months.

Remembering a large number of passwords can be daunting. We will purchase the services of a password management tool which generates and stores passwords. Employees are obliged to create a secure password for the tool itself, following the abovementioned advice.

Transfer Data Securely

Transferring data introduces security risk. Employees must:

  • Avoid transferring sensitive data (e.g. customer information, employee records) to other devices or accounts unless absolutely necessary. When mass transfer of such data is needed, we request employees to ask our IT Team for help.
  • Share confidential data over the company network/ system and not over public Wi-Fi or private connection.
  • Ensure that the recipients of the data are properly authorized people or organizations and have adequate security policies
  • Report scams, privacy breaches and hacking attempts

Our IT Team need to know about scams, breaches and malware so they can better protect our infrastructure. For this reason, we advise our employees to report perceived attacks, suspicious emails or phishing attempts as soon as possible to our specialists. Our IT Team must investigate promptly, resolve the issue and send a companywide alert when necessary.

Our Security Specialists are responsible for advising employees on how to detect scam emails. We encourage our employees to reach out to them with any questions or concerns.

Additional measures

To reduce the likelihood of security breaches, we also instruct our employees to:

  • Turn off their screens and lock their devices when leaving their desks.
  • Report stolen or damaged equipment as soon as possible to [HR/ IT Department].
  • Change all account passwords at once when a device is stolen.
  • Refrain from downloading suspicious, unauthorized or illegal software on their company equipment.
  • Avoid accessing suspicious websites.

We also expect our employees to comply with our social media and internet usage policy.

Our IT Team should:

  • Install firewalls, anti-malware software and access authentication systems.
  • Arrange for security training to all employees.
  • Inform employees regularly about new scam emails or viruses and ways to combat them.
  • Investigate security breaches thoroughly.
  • Follow this policies provisions as other employees do.

Our company will have all physical and digital shields to protect information.

Remote employees

Remote employees must follow this policy’s instructions too. Since they will be accessing our company’s accounts and systems from a distance, they are obliged to follow all data encryption, protection standards and settings, and ensure their private network is secure.
We encourage them to seek advice from our [Security Specialists/ IT Administrators.]

Disciplinary Action

We expect all our employees to always follow this policy and those who cause security breaches may face disciplinary action:

  • First-time, unintentional, small-scale security breach: We may issue a verbal warning and train the employee on security.
  • Intentional, repeated or large scale breaches (which cause severe financial or other damage): We will invoke more severe disciplinary action up to and including termination. We will examine each incident on a case-by-case basis.

Additionally, employees who are observed to disregard our security instructions will face progressive discipline, even if their behavior hasn’t resulted in a security breach.

Everyone, from our customers and partners to our employees and contractors, should feel that their data is safe. The only way to gain their trust is to proactively protect our systems and databases. We can all contribute to this by being vigilant and keeping cyber security top of mind.

Simplified Recruitment – Complaint Procedure

Simplified Recruitment aims to provide high quality Recruitment services which meet your needs. We believe we achieve this most of the time: if we are not getting it right please let us know.

In order to ensure our services remain at a high and improving standard, we have a procedure through which you can let us know if for any reason you are not satisfied with your dealings with the organisation.

If you are unhappy about any Simplified Recruitment’s service, please speak to the relevant staff member, manager or Director.

If you are unhappy with an individual in Simplified Recruitment sometimes it is best to tell him or her directly. If you feel this is difficult or inappropriate then speak to the staff member’s manager or the Director.

Often we will be able to give you a response straight away. When the matter is more complicated, we will give you at least an initial response within five working days.

Send a Written Complaint

If you are not satisfied with our response or wish to raise the matter more formally, please write to the Director/Chief Executive using the instructions on the Contact Us Form.

All written complaints will be logged. You will receive a written acknowledgement within three working days.

The aim is to investigate your complaint properly and give you a reply within ten working days, setting out how the problem will be dealt with. If this is not possible, an interim response will be made informing you of the action taken to date or being considered.
